Mitchell Caplan

Mitchell is a modern, dynamic Marketing and Growth executive with over 20 years of experience in brand strategy, development and implementation of marketing programs, organizational management, and building new business opportunity and conversion. He has worked at some of the largest and most successful advertising and marketing firms in the world. While at Y&R, (a WPP company) Mitchell led all growth initiatives in North America, and also organized, coordinated, and sometimes led global opportunities.

His success at Y&R led to him being named to the additional post of Chief Marketing Officer of Y&R Brands, one of the world’s largest marketing communications groups. In 2008 WPP was awarded the largest consolidated MarComm account in history, the $1.5B Dell account. Mitchell was appointed by WPP to lead the global Dell team, and was one of the architects of the global agency formed to manage the business: Enfatico. Leading the Dell team Mitchell was responsible for the organizational restructuring, financial over site, and global integration of multiple partner companies.

Prior to joining Y&R Mitchell was Managing Director, New Business and Integration, at The Kaplan Thaler Group. In the late 1990’s into 2001 Mitchell was Managing Director of THINK new ideas, one of the first digital agencies in North America, with clients such as P&G, IBM, Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK), and several other Fortune 100 companies.
